OBIA NATURALS HAIR CARE REVIEW

Over a year ago, I purchased the Neem and Tea Tree Shampoo, Babassu Detangling Conditioner, Babassu Deep Conditioner, and the Heavy Almond Cream. Since then I have gone through two deep conditioners, one jar of the moisture cream leave-in, and I’m almost out of the twist whip butter. It’s safe to say I am well rehearsed when it comes to these products.
I have never tried a shampoo bar before and I’m upset I waited too late to jump on the train. I found this shampoo to lean more towards being a clarifying shampoo, but still, having the properties of a moisturizing shampoo. My hair is in the type 4 range so I am very particular when it comes to shampoos. If the shampoo is too drying I find myself trying to regain that moisture for another week.
I also suggest that you cut the shampoo bar into small squares as I found that I wasted a lot of product just apply the bar directly to my scalp. Lastly, I’m not a natural who sections their hair when washing, but I believe with this product it would be best to work in sections to make sure you are thoroughly cleansing your scalp.
This conditioner is some good stuff. The slip you receive using this product makes detangling even the kinkiest hair a breeze and it really helped me cut down my detangling time. I found myself using a lot of this product though so I went through the bottle pretty quickly.
I am a sucker for a good deep conditioner and therefore, this deep conditioner has become a staple product for me. This deep conditioner is thick in consistency so it is easy to get heavy handed. But trust me a little of this stuff goes a long way.
One major problem I have with deep conditioners is that they feel amazing when I first apply them, but the moment I rinse the product out, it’s like I never applied deep conditioner to my hair. That was not the case with this deep conditioner. Once I rinse out the product my hair still felt moisturized and tangled free.
This may be my least favorite product out of the line. When I finally got to try the Twist Whipped Butter I kind of just stop using this product. I still think it is an amazing product and I think it is best for daily moisturizing. I also would not consider this product to be heavy whatsoever, so don’t let the word “heavy” deter you.

Another one of my favorite products from this line. This product is actually a leave-in, my crazy self, for the longest thought it was a deep conditioner and then a styler. Then I read the bottle and saw that it was actually a leave-in. When I finally used the product correctly it changed the game. This product is moisturizing enough to stand alone but best paired with the Twist Whipped Butter or Sweet Almond Heavy Cream. Talk about moisture that lasts a week long!
When I first reviewed the line everyone was telling me I should have picked this product up instead of the Sweet Almond Heavy Cream. After using both of the products I understand why. The Twist Whipped Butter is hands down a favorite styler from this brand. In fact, the Curl Moisture Cream and the Twist Whipped Butter is a go-to styling combo for me.
This product was the last product of the line that I tried. I was unsure about what to do with this product because it was a curl enhancer. I rarely do wash n’ go’s. In addition, it was custard. If you’ve been following me then you know that my hair does not do well with custards.
This is the first curl enhancer I can honestly say that I did not need to follow up with gel. I posted a video on my channel if you want to see for yourself. My only con was I should have layered an oil after applying this product to lock in the moisture.
There are a few products not mentioned because I have not tried the product or used it long enough for a detailed review. However, hopefully, my review was good enough to make you want to give OBIA naturals hair care products a try.
